How many devices can use Netflix?

The number of devices that can use Netflix depends on the subscription plan you have. Netflix offers three different plans in most countries, including the United States:

Basic: allows you to watch Netflix on one screen at a time in standard definition.

Standard: allows you to watch on two screens at the same time and in high definition when available.

Premium: allows you to watch on four screens at the same time and in high definition and ultra-high definition (4K) when available.

With the Basic plan, you can only watch Netflix on one device at a time. With the Standard and Premium plans, you can watch on multiple devices at the same time, up to the maximum number of screens allowed by your plan.
It’s worth noting that Netflix’s terms of service do not allow users to share their account with people outside of their household, so all devices that are using Netflix with a single account must be located in the same household.
